The direct-acting safety valve is designed to protect equipment and pipelines against mechanical damage by emergency pressure increase.The protection is provided by the automatic discharge (release) of the fluid to the bypass line from systems and vessels with
pressure exceeding that established.
The valve is installed in the pipeline to prevent situations when the fluid flow direction changes to that reverse.
The valve is designed for continuous control of pressure drop on oil collection system pipelines.
