Measuring module, model “Rubin-01.17” (Zhigach-Yarov instrument) is intended to determine the clay (mud powder) swelling factor. The swelling factor is measured with the method based on determination of clay (mud powder) volume as it swells in the analyzed liquid medium. It meets the requirements of RD 39-3-1273-85; STO Gazprom 2-3.2-020-2005.
The instrument design is continuously improved and may differ from that shown in the figure. The main distinction from previous models: a divided chamber with liquid and an indicator.
