The BM-6 instrument is intended to measure the filtration (fluid loss) index of drill muds used in the
process of oil & gas well drilling. On completion of the drill mud filtration index measurement, to the thickness and the anti-friction properties of the clay cake formed on the filter are measured by the KTK-2 “Rubin” instrument.
Specific features of the BM-6 instrument, version 2012, from “Rubin” R&D Co.: tested on the UPG-2 test
unit (consequently, no leakage on the ram) and certification in conformity with RD 018- 84448846-2010. No hard efforts are required to close the valve and the tray.
TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS
The instrument meets the requirements of RD 39-00147001-773-2004 “Drill mud control methods” and
the well construction regulatory documents STO Gazprom 7.3-002-2010.
